These elegant and intricately crafted candlesticks are made from the footboard of an old waterfall bed. Hardwood is naturally aged with a fresh coat of provincial stain. Holes are drilled on both ends so that you may display as you choose with either taper or pillar candles (not included).  Approximate size is 9" x 4.5" (at widest point).  TEMPORARILY OUT-OF-STOCK

Message Board

 

 

This is my quirky take on an old fashioned bulletin board. Board is created from a chair back.  Cork is covered with red and white ticking fabric. There are red metal stars near the bottom - perfect for hanging keys, etc. There is also a rod at the bottom, ideal for hanging linens. One of a kind. Picture wire attached for hanging.  Approximate size is 16"x 35"x2". 

Blackboard

This blackboard is created from a chair bottom. Original upholstered cut out has been stripped and painted with several coats of chalkboard paint. I've added some recycled drawer knobs at the bottom. This would be the perfect place to hang a little fabric bag to hold your chalk! I've left the back unfinished so you can see the original workmanship-this chair bottom was definitely "homemade". Interesting piece. Picture wire attached for hanging. Approximate size is 18"x22"x1".

 

Old Bureau Mirror

 

 

This is a door from an old bureau, possibly mahogany from the '40s.  Finish has been stripped, and re-rubbed with oil.  Original hinges attached on the left side (with original finish).  Aged brass hooks have been added to the bottom for hanging hats and jackets.  Mirror is slightly streaked due to age.  Wire attached to the back for hanging.  Approximate size is 18.5" x 48" x .75".

Drawer Mirror

This mirror is from an old bureau, possibly mahogany from the '40s.  Finish has been stripped and re-rubbed with oil.  Original hinges attached on the right side (with original finish).  Homespun and jute attached to the back for hanging.  Approximate size is 12.25" x 14.5" x .75".

Black & Tan Message Center

 

 

Memo board is made from reused framing that came off of a set of bunk beds.  Painted black and white using a dry brush and the stained.   Top and bottom portions are padded with cork then covered with black and cream checked fabric.  Middle portion is chalk board.  Entire thing is framed with recycled slats.  3 rusty nails sit along the bottom for hanging what-nots. (the flying pig is not inlcuded-sorry).  Approximate size 17" x 31" x 1.5".  TEMPORARILY OUT-OF-STOCK

Red Floral Message Board

Junque Box (Black Floral & Green Stripe)

Box is created from drawer of an old bureau, possibly mahogany from the '40s.  Finish has been stripped and re-rubbed with oil.  Porcelain knobs have been covered with black, green and red floral fabric to form the front knobs and the little feet.  Inside bottom is lined with coordinating green, maroon and white striped fabric.  Perfect for magazines or newspapers.  Approximate size is 14" x 14.5" x 6".

Junque Box (Blue Floral & Blue Stripe)

Box is created from drawer of an old bureau, possibly mahogany from the '40s.  Finish has been stripped and re-rubbed with oil.  Porcelain knobs have been covered with blue, white, red and green floral fabric to form the front knobs and the little feet.  Inside bottom is lined with coordinating blue, maroon and white striped fabric.  Perfect for magazines or newspapers.  Approximate size is 14" x 14.5" x 6".

Junque Box (Navy Homespun)
